Urgent Medical Assistance for James Nealy

  Hello family and friends, 

 We are reaching out with a heart wrenching situation. About a year ago, James decided to follow his dreams and passions of traveling the world. His most recent stop was Thailand where he began to embrace the culture and scenic views.  

Unfortunately, he has been in a tragic vehicle accident which resulted in James being a coma and placed on a ventilator. There are also many other diagnoses including bleeding in brain, a fractured skull and a punctured lung. Being across the world in a remote area of Thailand, we need to get him into a private hospital to get him the best care possible as very little is being done in the public hospital. The public healthcare system in Thailand is unable to provide James with the critical care that’s needed. He has recently developed a fever and pulmonary contusion and there is simply not enough being done to help with treatment. A private hospital is more costly and we are currently working with the embassy and hospital to pay the current medical expenses from the public hospital to facilitate this medically necessary transition. 

 We urgently need your help and generosity to cover the costs of his stay such as: - Medical evacuation to a nearby area private hospital with adequate medical facilities, equipment, physicians etc. -Medical testing/evaluations -Medications - Surgeries if deemed necessary - Ongoing treatment and rehabilitation 

 The cost for this life-saving care is far beyond our means. That's why we're turning to our community for support. Any contribution big or small will bring us closer to saving James’ life and help support his recovery. We are not asking for a hand out, we are asking for a hand in helping James get through this.
