Moving Mountains For Our Kuya Jopol

Hello, Everyone! I am wholeheartedly reaching out to you for my brother, Jopol (Jose Paul Giovanni Ochon), who had a massive stroke last Saturday. He is currently in the ICU, attached to a ventilator. The CT Scan showed he has a severely damaged Pons, the part of the brain that acts as a message station for sleep, respiration, swallowing, bladder control, hearing, equilibrium, taste, eye movement, facial expressions, facial sensation, and posture. For the first two days after the stroke, Kuya Jopol has just been in a sleeping state. Yesterday; however, he has showed a lot of progress. Currently, he still has no eye and verbal response, but he can already obey simple commands. He gripped our Mommy's hand and moved his foot when asked. He may not have any movement on the right side of the body, but he tries his best to move the rest. In the past few months, Kuya Jopol, tried hard to stay fit. He only ate what's healthy and he was happy that he was losing weight. It only shows how much he still wants to live and be with his family. This has been particularly hard for our family since Daddy left us due to Liver Cancer last year. We are thankful that through it all, we have an amazing support system from our extended family who has been on the watch monitoring Kuya's progress and making sure the doctors and nurses are doing everything they could to help Kuya recover. Right now, they are still working on normalizing his blood pressure and preventing his pneumonia to progress. We are raising money for his medical expenses. On Day 3 of admission, the bill has blown up! We are humbly asking for your generosity. Anything you are able to contribute will be so helpful to the family.
