Hi, my name is Allison, and I'm reaching out to you all on behalf of my Uncle Tom. I recently found out that Tom and his family are going through an incredibly challenging time. Tom has been diagnosed with heart failure caused by past chemo and radiation treatment he underwent four years ago for esophageal cancer.

Tom's condition has worsened to the point where his heart is functioning at 16%, and he is now unable to work. This unexpected development has placed an enormous financial burden on not only Tom but also his partner, Christie, as they now have to cover medical expenses, ongoing treatments, and daily living costs with limited resources. Christie is an amazing partner and mother, caring for Tom while also caring for their two children and other immediate family members. However, with Tom's inability to contribute financially, the stress and pressure on both of them have become overwhelming.

I have started this GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate some of the financial strain that Tom and his family are facing. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference. Your support will enable them to focus on Tom's recovery without the constant worry about their financial situation.

The funds raised will go towards covering medical bills, prescription medications, ongoing testing, transportation costs to medical appointments, and basic living expenses like rent, utilities, and groceries. By giving a helping hand, we can ensure that this loving family can stay afloat during this time of crisis.
