Help a Ukrainian Family start a new life

My name is Joanne Mullen and along with my husband Bruce, we are hosting a family from Kharkiv, Ukraine. That’s them in the photo: Dad Sasha(38), Mom Vicktoriia (36), Myron (12) and Artem (8).

Please help us support this young family as they endeavor to start a new life in Kelowna. The family arrived in Canada on Sept 8th with only a small suitcase each, so they are starting with virtually nothing. They have left everything they know & love behind to seek refuge and safety for their two young sons.

While we are providing accommodations and necessities to start, our goal is to help them become independent and build their new life here in Kelowna. They will need a car (where we live, bus/transit is very limited to get around for job interviews, work etc.) rental deposit, some rent, winter clothes and furniture.

Every donation, no matter what size, will make a difference in the lives of this lovely family, and we sincerely appreciate anything you can do to support them ❤️
