Top Surgery Fund

Hello and welcome to my GoFundMe page! My name is Ali and I’m a nonbinary, trans-masculine person pursuing a medical transition to feel more at home in my body. (Aka time to yeet these teets!!) I had my consultation with Dr Scott Mosser on December 9 and am tentatively planning on a surgery date for summer 2020.

My partner and I will be traveling to San Francisco and staying there for ~ a week, per Dr Mosser’s instructions. I am waiting to hear how much my insurance will cover, so I’m tentatively hoping to raise $3,000 to cover travel, lodging expenses, and the insurance deductible.

December 30, 2019 update: I was opening some mail I’ve gotten over the past week and guess what was waiting for me but my insurance approval letter!! Celebrating the new year and hopefully my last holiday season with this weight on my chest lol. Because Mosser is out-of-network for my plan I’ll still have to cover a good chunk of the costs, but it’s one step closer.
