Help Amanda Fight Cancer!

Meet Amanda. An amazing young single mother of a sweet 11 year old son. In 2017 she was diagnosed with both Hodgkins & Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. She fought the hard fight with chemotherapy and was found to be in remission in November of 2018. During her time in remission Amanda set up her own business and began working in a salon while raising her son Elias and enjoying everything life had to offer.
However last month during a routine CT scan Amanda received some disheartening news when they found a suspicious area. A PET scan was done followed by a 5hr surgery to remove her thymus and perform a biopsy of a growth very close to her heart. She woke up with a chest tube from where they had to collapse her lung in order to get to the growth that bound itself very close to Amanda's heart. It took her several days to recover just from that one surgery.
Now the Hodgkins Lymphoma is back. Due to her symptoms Amanda has had to cut way back on work which has left her in desperate need for funds in order to pay her basic bills such as rent, utilities, and groceries. Amanda needs our help.
As the holidays approach, Amanda will be enduring high doses of chemotherapy, followed by radiation at a local hospital, and then a bone marrow transplant in New York where she will need to stay for at least 2 weeks while her family and close friends will be juggling to help give 1:1 personal care to Amanda while also trying to care for her son and bring him back and forth, to and from New York to visit his mom during her treatment.
Amanda's only concern is for the emotional needs of her son, not to mention trying to figure out how to make Christmas happen for her son this holiday. She is in desperate need of help in order to pay her basic bills and it is my hope that we can take the burden off of her shoulders so that she can focus on her health and the emotional needs of her son Elias. No family should have to focus on financial burdens during a time like this.
Let's help Amanda fight this battle. Anything that you are able to donate will be greatly appreciated. Together we can do so much! Let's show Amanda that SHE IS NOT ALONE. I want her to know that we are all in this together to support her. I will be sharing updates on her progress and Amanda will be seeing every note, words of encouragement, and donations from all of you. Please help by donating and sharing this page. Amanda is beyond grateful for any help you are willing to offer.
