The Eason Family
Donation protected
Earlier this week, Gabe was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Gabe had been experiencing terrible head pain and pressure in his head for the past 2.5 weeks. He made a call to his wife, Faith, when he started experiencing difficulty walking. They immediately went to the ER to understand what was going on.
After a CT scan, the doctor informed them that they found a mass in Gabe’s brain. After further examination, they believe Gabe has a Central Neurocytoma that is placed in a rather inconvenient location. It is blocking his spinal fluid drainage and creating a constant pressure in his head.
On Friday, Gabe will undergo the first of two surgeries to fix this. They will be installing a shunt in his head to help with spinal fluid drainage. After he heals from this surgery, he will undergo a craniotomy to remove the tumor. His recovery is expected to take many months.
Gabe is a dedicated husband, father, and provider. Thankfully, both Faith and Gabe’s employers are being very supportive of their situation, but there will be a financial burden on them. This gofundme has been set up in hopes that we can help alleviate some of the challenges that are to come.
Any donation, no matter the size, is helpful and greatly appreciated! Your prayers for two successful surgeries, for the tumor to be benign, and for the family to have peace during this time, are greatly appreciated!
