Cara Girls Rescue Centre

My name is Caoimhe and I am fundraising for The CARA Projects in Kenya who i plan to volunteer with in February 2024.
The CARA Projects is an Irish nonprofit charity (CHY18652) that uses money raised by volunteers to support young women and girls in the Cara Girls Rescue Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.
The CARA Projects help young women and children who have been affected by things such as early marriage, FGM and abuse. They provide these girls with a home, education, healthcare and nutritional meals away from harm.
The money raised is used to buy food for people in the local community (€25 pays for their monthly shop), painting in the centre and schools, making a farm to make the centre more self sufficient and much more.
The total amount i need to raise to go on this trip is €2500 so if you could spare anything at all it would be very appreciated. I will be staying in the centre for 2 weeks in February 2024 and experience first hand the difference CARA makes for these girls lives.
