Help Dan fight Cancer

As many of you guys know I started a go fund me in November of last year to raise funds to help pay for emergency surgery for Dan. We tried to save his foot and we were ultimately unsuccessful. We had our beautiful daughter Hendrix in March and Dan ended up having an amputation in May of this year. While he suffered an unimaginable loss, we thought we were finally out of the woods and we could see the silver lining. I never thought I’d have to make another one of these again in my life. But here we are. Nine days ago we went to the hospital because he was having pain in his side. We thought that it was from the walker that he was using to get around, but it turns out he has been diagnosed with metastatic pheochromocytoma. This is an extremely rare, extremely aggressive form of adrenal cancer. Dan’s Cancer has spread from his adrenal gland to his liver, spleen, spinal cord, pelvic bone, and ribs. He has stage 4 cancer. As a result of this condition Dan is now hospitalized until further notice. We have been informed that the physicians at the Cleveland Clinic can no longer care for Dan as his condition is very severe and they have referred him to the Moffit Cancer Center in tampa.

UPDATE:

After being denied at Moffit, we went to Jupiter Medical Center and they transferred us to Tampa General for a surgical biopsy. We then found out that Dan actually has is metastatic melanoma stage four. We traveled back to Palm Beach Gardens and we were receiving outpatient treatment but nothing has really seemed to be working. We finally got an approval for an appointment at Moffit, we made the trip and we were again denied care due to the progressive condition of Dan’s cancer. We are NOT giving up. I’m fighting to keep our family afloat while we fight against this terrible disease.
