Overwhelmed and in need

My name is Jamie and I am asking for some financial assistance for my husband Danny and I. We have been together a few years short of 30. We are each other's best friend and are the love of each other's life. Danny has recently been diagnosed with rectal cancer. It's part of the colon, but further down, so they consider it rectal. At this time, we haven't been told what stage it is, but the last surgeon we saw yesterday said he would say stage 2 or 3. It was originally thought to be in his liver as well, and perhaps lungs, but the surgeon thinks otherwise, that it is currently starting in the colon, rectal area. An MRI Danny just had, is to give us a plan of action, of surgery and most likely radiation. He has already had a CT and PET scan. This is such a horrifying and overwhelming situation, experience. Suddenly we're thrown into this turbulent sea of uncertainty and extreme fear, not knowing what's to come. Except, we do know that it's rough, and panic inducing. We're trying hard to not fall into the deep abyss of depression, but it's a minute by minute battle. Danny is only 55. In fact, he just had his 55th birthday. He's such a special guy. He's always there for friends, strangers in need and loves life, music, his people. If you know Danny, you're a lucky person and you know how funny and endearing he is. He's a great husband and father, and has worked so very hard his whole life. We ask for any help you can give, for travel, supplements, supplies, income supplement, medical expenses, personal day trips to get away from the extreme stress, and anywhere we need it, which, as you know, these situations eat up income quickly, and he's had to take off work several days already for tests, travel. I know we all are working hard to maintain our lives and everyone has bills, priorities. All I ask is to keep us in mind and if you can spare it, to help us out. We sure hate having to ask for help.
