Balkan American Community Center

Balkan American Community Center will be having a fundraising event on December 5th 2015. Bacc has been like a second home to us. Leaving Albania and starting a new life in the states was one of the hardest things I have faced so far. If you have left your birthplace and moved to a different country, I am sure you can relate to the struggles. I "discovered" BACC in 2010 and I feel extremely lucky to have a place where I can go to and feel like I am in Albania again. Everyone is extremely nice and there is never a dull moment.  Friday-Saturday-Sunday BACC offers classes to Albanian-American students as well as Bosnian-American and Bulgarian-American students. It is such an amazing feeling for these little kids to be able to learn about their culture and traditions. The volunteers who teach these classes are extremely passionate and dedicated to the weekend school. They always try to organize fun activities and parties to bring the community together. BACC also organizes a summer camp each year which is always super fun for the kids, as well as different field trips throughout the year. I could go on and on about the great things that BACC has to offer to the community. I truly believe that BACC, the wonderful hardworking Taulant, the kind and patient Bledi, the great and energetic volunteers have such a great impact on the youger generation and our community. Let us show them how much we appreciate what they do. Anything counts. We just want to do something nice and give them the support they truly deserve. Please donate as much as you can.
