Jewhungry? Recovery Fund

Frist of all, I just wanted to say THANK YOU for all the love and support from the community of Austin and EVERY place else who has reached out!! I really appreciate it. Many Supporters have asked me to start a GoFundMe so that they can help with the cost of repairs. Here is a lil more info as to what's going on. So after going on my first vacation since opening my food truck, JewHungry?, eight months ago, I was awaken with a phone call from the bar manager (where my food truck is parked) telling me that my truck had been broken into. Let me tell you, that was the LONGEST drive home Ever!! The state n site of JewHungry? looked better than I thought on the outside, but my heart broke as I entered to survey the damage. Besides the busted out window there was stuff EVERYWHERE, broken, smashed, thrown--you name it. To top it off, the vandals left a nice "parting gift" which included a metal, iron cross and coined money in the front seat. Totally changing this to something more sinister. Not Cool at All!! As I continue to put things back together it has come to my attention that more has been taken and/or broken then I thought. This has forced me to temporarily remove a few favorite items from the menu, not to mention, I have no idea when the window can get replaced!! So here it is. At the moment I've tallied up the cost of getting the most important things fixed and replaced to be around $2000.00. I plan on opening daily to recoup this loss but anything donated will help IMMENSELY. Thank you from the Bottom of my Heart, Scotty Grossbard
