To offset Robin Lentz's medical expenses

Hi, my name is Melissa. I am here to seek help for one of my soul sisters, Robin.

A little bit about Robin: She has dedicated her service to Mill Mountain Zoo in beautiful Roanoke, VA for over 11 years. She currently oversees a collection of 175 animals, from spiders to snow leopards, and all the staff that cares for them. She is dedicated and loyal to her profession, having served the Jacksonville Zoo for 11 years prior to moving to Roanoke.

Her love for animals translates to her love for her family and friends. She is a mother to a wonderful teenager. She is an amazing daughter, sister and friend to her tribe.

One day a few weeks ago, she was trying to assist her dog Hershey onto her bed for some midnight snuggles. Unfortunately, she slipped on the bed ruffle, crashed to the ground and fractured her fibula. This required surgery to have a plate put in to support

her healing. Unfortunately, Robin is uninsured and has had to pay for this out of pocket. To be treated, she was required to put a down payment of $10,000. She had no other choice but to put the expense on her credit card.

The purpose of the GoFundMe is to help pay off the $10k and avoid the outrageous interest that accrues with credit cards. She can then focus on paying off the remaining $45,000 balance owed to the hospital.
