Maria Elena Perez was a single Mother she raised 4 children, one of them being of special needs. For Maria Elena, family was the most important thing in life and left a remarkable and inspirational legacy that lives on. She was the kind of person that will always inspire and help people to be the best they can be. She was loving, caring, and giving.

Maria Elena fought cancer for several years until her body couldn't take it anymore. She just passed away at the age of 69.
