Turner Family Relief Fund

Our beloved friends the Turners lost their home, nearly all of their belongings, and their incredible neighborhood (Altadena) in the recent Eaton fire. They are grateful to be safe, along with their sweet dog Jasper, and staying with family members for the foreseeable future. At the same time, they are just beginning the process of fully understanding what this means for them. As so many of you have reached out asking how you can best support them, we have put together some ideas for supporting their short and long-term needs.

Laura and David are also thinking about their broader community and how to best support them in this process. Below you will see the names of some organizations who are working to support their neighborhood with recovering and rebuilding from this tragedy. We encourage you to consider supporting them, either along side of, or in lieu of supporting the Turners.

In the Short-Term: The money from this GoFundMe will be directly focused on covering any costs that their insurance policy and FEMA do not cover. Any additional funds raised from this campaign that the Turners don't end up needing, will be donated to their community to support others in recovering from this tragedy.

Long-Term Support: Once Laura and David figure out their new living situation, we will be re-evaluating how to best support them in their next chapter.
