Cox house fire

Lightning strike on June 27 caused a house fire for  one of my neighbors, Kory and Beatriz Cox. 

 

 The hydrant directly across the street from their house failed and it took significant time for water flow to be established.  This delay required the 2 alarm fire response to go into defensive mode and the house a total loss.  Over 8 fire departments from the surrounding area had to respond before they were able to control the blaze.

 

 Thankfully they were able to get out safely with their 4 legged baby.  To add insult to injury, their oldest son is to be married in a few weeks. 

 

 I’ve established this go fund me to help with costs that insurance will not cover. It happened so fast and it could have been any of us. If you’re able to donate, thank you for your generosity.
