Hi. I'm David and am asking for help to save our home. Long story short (ish)...

I was the victim of a malicious colleague who decided to plant a lie about me and feed its growth. After two years of arbitration, which we won (labor beat management in arbitration...in Indiana!!)

The personal cost of victory was high and I was forced out of the Philharmonic. The hate towards me was not sated, so the dean and the chair of the music dept decided to come after me, too, which resulted in my "retiring" from PFW 5 years ahead of schedule, screwing up my last source of reliable income, Health insurance, and retirement planning. My income was cut by 90%, and rumor mongers made sure my reputation was thoroughly ruined. While dealing with this, Covid hit and the last of my income, and all ofi Kyle's income dried up. While trying to recover from this, my cardiac issues began. We have made alternate payment arrangements with the mortgage company but are unable to keep these arrangements because of my repeated hospitalizations.

I hate asking for help. Especially monetary help. I've always thought of of it as a recognition of failure. Given all the benefits of my parents' guidance and wisdom over the decades, I still wasn't able to adequately support and safeguard my family. Knowing that and knowing that my dad knows that and my family and friends know that sucks most of all, I think.
