My life was thrown into disarray when I was diagnosed with a highly aggressive form of cancer, which has spread to my lungs, liver, and left shoulder. I am a remarkable survivor, having conquered breast cancer just two years ago. I was thriving, embracing life to the fullest - cherishing moments with my loving family (my husband, parents, siblings, children, grandchildren, and a wide circle of dear friends), and passionately pursuing my dreams. I was engaged in ongoing education and had my sights set on launching my own environmental management services, all the while supporting others in their journey towards a better life.
This recent diagnosis has been a devastating blow, not only to me but to all of us who hold me dear. The impact has been profound, touching us spiritually, emotionally, mentally, financially, and physically. My resilience is unwavering, but I am struggling, spending countless nights in the hospital due to the severe toll the cancer in my lungs has taken on my ability to breathe. This has led to a dangerous fluid buildup, delaying my much-needed chemotherapy treatment.
I am reaching out for your help and support. Any contributions you can offer will go a long way in easing the burden on me and my family. These funds will be used for critical medical treatments, transportation to and from medical appointments, covering the loss of income due to extended time away from work, and providing assistance with utility bills and rent. Moreover, we require the assistance of family members who are tirelessly caring for me around the clock as I grapple with fatigue, weakness, and unrelenting pain.
