Neelix Cat Cancer Fund
Donation protected
Neelix was diagnosed with nasal adenocarcinoma, a cancer tumor inside his nose (you can see the bump on the left side of his nose in the picture) in October 2013. He is 11. The diagnosis involved a biopsy, x-rays, many blood tests, and in December 2013 he starting taking a pill a day, alternating Piroxicam and Palladia. I currently owe $1,500 on his diagnostic treatment and the pills are going to cost me an additional $600 a month. We have had Neelix since he was found in a litter of dead kittens in a warehouse in 2002, barely alive, and although he has a host of behavioral problems, we love him. He is the second oldest of the eight cats -- all found in precarious situations -- that we are taking care of, seven of which are now indoor cats, so our bills for feeding, litter, and routine medical care for this large family already has us in an equally precarious financial situation.
Your help is appreciated and may you be karmically and spiritually rewarded for your generosity. You can follow Neelix's progress at my cat blog http://www.lifeincats.blogspot.com
