Carl Johanson Recovery Fund

We all know and love Carl Johanson, honestly who could not? Those of you that do not know him, He is a Sanibel Fire Fighter and has the biggest heart of anyone I know, He would gladly give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. He is our brother in and out of the station and he needs our help.

For those of you not aware of Carl's current situation, He is in the ICU for a motor vehicle accident. On his way to work on Sunday morning, Carl was hit by a vehicle on the Sanibel Causeway Bridge. The accident left Carl Pinned in with mutliple injuries, including broken bones and internal bleeding. Carl was Trauma Alerted and flown to Lee Memorial Hospital as quick as he could be removed from the vehicle. 




Carls's road to recovery is going to be long and painful and we all know he will have a hard time staying still. He will be out of work from anywhere from 6 months to a year. He will need all of our help with keeping him entertained and positive. Carl's vehicle was a total loss and he has no means of purchasing another. So we ask for everyone that can help financially to donate, and those who can't, please just send him a positive text and keep him in your prayers. Carl is unaware of this GoFundMe becuase he would never ask anybody for anything, and thats exactly why we wanted to start this.
