Three weeks and 4 days later and Tim has come home today January 30th!

Three weeks in since Tim’s accident January 27th:I got spend time with tim and destiny the last two days. He truly is a miracle! Prayers are being answered and support for Tim and family is overwhelming! So thank you all so much! Tim had a CT scan today and from what we could read from it the fluid in his abdomen is finally draining well. Slow going but draining. All things going in the right direction for sure! Hoping he will be going home soon!

Update January 19th: It has been two weeks since Tim’s mining accident. He is still at Presby in Pittsburgh and doing ok. The biggest concern right now is his liver injury. As it’s trying to repair itself it’s creating pockets of fluid in different areas of his abdomen. He has two drains in currently in two different pockets. They are monitoring him and hoping his liver will repair itself. Not sure what the timeline is but if it does not he will have to have surgery to remove the damaged part of his liver. I got a chance to FaceTime with him last evening and he is doing ok. Tired but ok. Please keep the prayers coming for him. This two weeks has been long and exhausting. The prayers, love and support is keeping him going so thank you all so much!

My brother Tim was involved in a mining accident January 5th 2024. His injuries are extensive and severe, with a lengthy recovery ahead. With Gods help and healing hand Tim is already improving with each day.

Tim was transferred from Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown  to Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh on January 15th for further testing and treatment.

Family and friends have been reaching out asking how then can help. They will be needing help with expenses in the upcoming days, weeks and months. Destiny is staying down the street from his hospital outside of visiting hours since she is not permitted to stay with him in his room.  This is costing them a daily rate and will add up quickly. The kids are being shuttled between grandparents homes and sleeping in their own beds when they can. The kids will be needing help with groceries, laundry, house cleaning, homework and many other things.

As Tim’s sister I feel like I needed to help in some small way. Help relieve some of the stress and burden from them.

Tim is a man with a deep faith in God. He and his family belong to First Apostolic Church of Somerset. His strong faith and many prayers are helping get him through this difficult time.  Tim is a strong man with a strong will to keep going. Tim has helped many friends, family, neighbors and many in their church community over the years. It’s time for our community of family, friends, neighbors and coworkers to step up and help them in this time of need.

Whether it’s financially or by sending prayers any and all help is so greatly appreciated. (All donations are being sent directly to Tim and Destiny).
