Ella’s Bat Mitzvah fundraiser

For my bat mitzvah this year , I am raising money for 2 charities which are both very close to my heart.

I really like helping to raise money for charities and helping people in need who are less fortunate, therefore choosing only 2 charities to fundraise for was extremely difficult for me.

Chai Cancer Care and Camp simcha have both been an immense support to my family and friends. Chai was a great support to my grandma and continues to support my family now, and very recently, Camp Simchah have also personally supported me. There are not enough words to describe the wonderful work that these charities do.

In April, I will be walking 5 miles from my house to the Chai Cancer Care building in April, raising money for “The Chai in Schools programme”, an initiative operating in many Jewish and non-Jewish primary and secondary schools across the UK, which supports children affected by a cancer diagnosis of either themselves or someone in their family.

During the year, I have been and will continue to participate in Camp Simcha's B'nei Mitzvah programme, including helping with packing care packages in the annual Toy Drive and the Purim Pack-a-thon, sending gifts to the families Camp Simcha supports, as well as another sponsored walk.
