Fundraiser for Lori Dowd- Spreading Sunshine!

Lori Dowd has been the sunshine in so many of our lives. Her optimism, positivity, and love of life continually bless each of us daily. Her outlook on life and her passion for living each day make it easy to pass by the shadows that could easily dampen her spirits. Lori simply radiates sunshine.

 

Since Lori’s cancer diagnosis in 2012, she has reminded us to enjoy each day on this precious earth. She takes advantage of life’s moments and truly lives out the intentions of positivity, gratitude and above all, kindness. She is a woman of great courage, and she is inspirational to us all.

 

Lori is the friend anyone can count on, the cheerleader for all our children, and the most incredible mom to Indio and Aydyn. She is a loving daughter, wife and sister; her family is her world. She is also the “mom” to anyone that needs an extra hug, snack, support, or advice. She is a loyal and committed employee who has worked countless hours and shifts even when she was weary and tired- yet always with a smile on her face.

 

She is fiercely intentional about being present and sharing life’s moments with family and friends. People are what give Lori her greatest joy. Lori’s love for people fuels her heart, and in turn, she has lifted us up as we have watched her go through the most challenging times in her life.

 

She has endured chemotherapy treatments, surgeries, remission, setbacks, and through it all, she has held on to hope. She has rallied for years and continues to fight the cancer battle inside her. Her optimism, faith and gratitude for those in her life that have supported her and loved her through her journey remain strong.

 

Lori has not been able to work for the last several months; our goal is to provide Lori with the sunshine she needs, not the shadows that could easily dampen her spirits. Lori’s world is filled with people who love her, and she loves right back.
