ADDICTS 2 ATHLETES

I'm a recovering addict that has turned back to running as a positive use of my energy. I used to race competitively 30 years ago, but then life got busy, had my ups and downs. 20 years ago I sunk deep into full addiction. Been picking up the pieces and healing since then. 8 years ago my son moved in with me. 6 years ago double hernia from working too hard trying to support us both. Had the surgery, worked on healing myself physically and continued my spiritual healing. Since we moved to Guelph life has gotten better . My special needs son is now an adult and i'm starting to have more time to myself. I would like to get track shoes with spikes, continue competing in the masters indoor meets and outdoors with this years goals being compete at Ontario Championships, Canadian Championships and Central and North American/Caribbean Championships. 2020 goal was to compete in Toronto at world masters championships but that got cancelled by covid. My motto is 'recovery thru sport' Any cash donations I receive I will donate in here to show I got it. If any one would be interested in getting involved in Master Atheletics, or want to run in the Guelph Turkey Trot ( in support of Guelph Hospital), I will use funds to help pay the registration fee. Looking forward to Canadian Indoor Championships March 2023.
