Racing for a cure to Choroideremia

I'm getting off the couch (it's true) and curbing my cheese/bread obsession (mostly true) to help raise money for research to find a cure for Choroideremia; a rare inherited retinal degenerative disease that causes blindness. I will be dedicating my participation in Lavaman triathlon in March to raising funds for this critical research. A friend of mine with this disease is hoping to complete Ironman Arizona this fall without assistance; this race is another step towards that goal. A special challenge to each of the 150+ AK athletes competing in this race. Your donation can literally change the way someone sees the rest of their life.
