MMS Alumni-Holiday Fundraiser

Hi Y’all, My name is Robel Teffera. I’m the President of the MMS Alumni Board.
Since our last homecoming, our goal as an alumni committee is to create more opportunities for us to give back to OUR school and family.
The holiday season is a perfect time to do just that.
We met w/ the MMS leadership to discuss ways that we can impact each Dorm Hall for the holidays.
The biggest need that was mentioned for the halls is lack of funds for extracurricular events.
Due to budget constraints for hall activities, old traditions of hall trips/ movie passes to the community theater have significantly decreased.
Our goal is to revive these opportunities. The precious memories we made during our hall trips to the movies or out of town are timeless.
Together, I BELIEVE we can bring this back for our little brothers &sisters at the Mission.
Here’s the breakdown to reaching our goal:
Movie Passes for each Hall=$500
Hurley Hall 1- 3
Parker Hall 1-4
Toddler Hall
Total= Alumni Goal of $ 4000
Fundraiser will go from November 30th-January 10 (Students return around this time)
*Each Hall will have the flexibility to use the money raised for indivualized Hall Activities/Trip. Equivalent to $500.
