A Family in great need

Dear friends, a long-time member of the Church of the Rock, Linda Bovard and her husband Lee went on a Panamanian Cruise approximately ten days ago. This past Sunday 1/21 Linda tripped and fell while on the ship. She hit her head and it caused a rapid brain bleed. Lee tried getting her a medical life flight to Miami but her condition wouldn’t allow it. On Monday, Linda was operated on in a Panamanian hospital in an effort to drain fluid on her brain. While the surgery resulted in some fluid being drained, the doctors reported that her brain isn’t registering any activity. A decision regarding life-support is nearing. We are continuing to pray for a miraculous healing.

With all that said, the hospital is relentlessly pursuing Lee for money. Originally they asked him to pay $50,000 up front, which he obviously could not do. Lee has given everything he can give… and has drained all of his credit card accounts. American health insurance is not accepted in certain foreign countries, with Panama being one of them. So consequently everything is out-of-pocket.

This Go-Fund-Me account will be providing the Bovard’s with cash-on-hand to handle all medical bills and Lee and Linda’s sustenance while in Panama, as well as any incurring costs in returning to the United States. All donations would be fully appreciated. God bless and we covet your prayers.

Update: Linda passed last night 1/23. Lee is in the process of paying the hospital expenses so they will release her body for cremation. Please continue to pray for their family.

Update: Lee has been able to return home with Linda but unfortunately his expenses continue to add up.
