A Moms Fight For A Dream

My name is Mariecel (Lexie) Peck Im 46 yrs old , Im a mom of three Kids who are my life. I’m born and raised in Marilao Bulacan Philippines. Been a separated single mom for 16 years and raising my kids by myself.. I was Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 and had a mastectomy. For 11years I struggled to make ends meet for my children. I finally decided in 2017 to come to the US to find better opportunities to help my kids in preparation for their future. While in the US I fell in love and got married to a man I love so much. I have finally felt for the first time I am realizing and living my dream. Going to be able to help my children and have a chance for a career, as well as being happily married....My dream has become short lived though, in August I fell ill and recently was told my cancer has come back. We have learned that my cancer has metastasized already to the brain, lung and bones, with no cure and given only a few months to live......Im very sad about this news and feel so concerned for my children. They are still dependent on me with their housing and support. My goal was to come to the US to work and give support and education to my children. I’m asking for your help to still allow my dream to come true before the lord takes me. May god bless everyone of you!
