Daniel Wilsons Recovery

Hi, My name is Collette Wilson. On August 13, 2023, my son Daniel was out of town at Lake Nolin, Daniel was involved in a skateboarding accident and sustained a traumatic brain injury. He was rushed to the University of Louisville ICU and has just recently been transferred to Frazier Rehab Hospital where he will receive extensive inpatient Physical, Occupational, Speech and Neurosych therapies. We are anticipating being here for at least 2 weeks and then continuing on an outpatient basis for an undetermined amount of time. We are working hard to stay optimistic that Daniel can recovery fully.

As you know we can never be fully prepared for what life brings. Either myself or Dan's Dad, John has been up at the hospital since the accident, we are currently alternating nights/days staying with him and now taking part in therapies with him. The road is going to be much longer/intense than we anticipated which has us away from our place of employment. We hope to try to return to work part-time while balancing our time with Daniel.

I have been asked to set up this account by many, I hesitated because I was hopeful that we wouldn't need the help. Your generous donations will help us supplement our income, and apply toward Dan's medical expenses.
