Please see the story in today’s (7/26) Franklin Journal !!

6/3/19 - Please see update #11 posted around noon today.

I didn't know I could list 'offline' donations here. Now I do, and the total just went over $10K!

Our grandson, Aaron LeBlanc, age 20, has suddenly been diagnosed with end-stage renal failure and will have to undergo dialysis three times a week for the foreseeable future. Recently he had been feeling very ill, and testing revealed that his kidneys are small and scarred, for reasons yet unknown. In addition, his blood pressure is extremely high and has affected his vision, and we do not yet know if there will be permanent eye damage. He was hospitalized at Maine Medical Center on December 11, 2018 and will remain there until he is stabilized.
Aaron is a very sweet guy who enjoys card games, playing pool, learning math, and laughing with family and friends. He enjoys helping out on his grandmother's farm and is planning to attend UMaine Augusta. Please help Team Aaron raise the funds that his family needs to take care of Aaron, his medically related expenses, and purchase of a vehicle for reliable transportation. Even after the initial emergency is resolved, Aaron and his parents are in this for the long haul!
Please share this with friends, family, and colleagues.
Thanks so much, from Aaron's family - dad Andy, mom Amy, sister Abby, grammy Amy, grampa Mike (AKA Buppah) - and friends too numerous to mention!
