Jay's Brain Cancer Fund

Donation protected
My dad, John "Jay" Sauchuk was recently diagnosed with a type of brain cancer called, Gliobastoma. About a month ago, he was constantly complaining about migraines and exhaustion, amongst a few other issues. After going to his doctors office and getting several different tests done, all of which were coming back normal, his doctor sent him to see a neurologist. Once he saw that doctor, he was immediately sent to the ER to get a cat scan. The results of that scan showed a tumor the size of a medium orange on his brain. He was emitted to Lahey Burlington that same day. On Dec 1, he had a decent portion of that tumor removed. The surgeon then informed my mother and I that the tumor was not on his brain but was his brain. The brain tissue to be more exact. Within the next few weeks he will begin chemo and radiation to be able to slow down the tumor and begin the long road to recovery. The doctors informed us that he will never be able to work or drive again because of this type of aggressive cancer. I'm starting this gofundme to raise as much money as I can to be able to help my mother and I pay for the bills that we have and to be able to move to a more handicapped accessible house or apartment so that my dad will have a home to come home to.  Right now, my mother and I are struggling to pay our rent where we currently live with just our 2 incomes coming in. Every penny or dollar that is donated to us will mean the world and it will enable us to get out of this place and into a safer place for dad to be able to live in. The sooner we can get as much money together as we can, the easier of a transition it will be for us to make this happen. I know that $5000 is a lot but, I'm reaching for the stars here and praying that we can make through this all smoothly. My dad knows that I am setting this up and is constantly telling me to tell everyone who can do whatever they can to help us that he "truely and deeply loves, cherishes and thanks each and every person that is part of our lives and is going to help us in any and everyway they can. Whether financially or emotionally."
