Support Sarah Sadler


On August 6, 2018, Sarah was diagnosed with stage 3 or 4 invasive ductal carcinoma of the breast. Sarah had been breast feeding her 4 month old, and she had noticed a lump in her breast. Attributing the lump to a clogged milk duct, Sarah tried everything to relieve the clogged duct. She was unsuccessful, and that prompted her to reach out to a medical professional she knew to make sure it wasn’t something else. Sarah and her family got shocking and devastating news: She had breast cancer.

Sarah is still undergoing diagnostic testing to find out the best treatment options for her, and there are still a lot of unanswered questions. However, we know that Sarah and her family have a long and expensive journey ahead of them. The purpose of this GoFund me page is to provide financial support to Sarah and her family. Sarah, and her husband, Jake, will be hesitant to accept such help from people, but they are very generous people and we have no doubt they would do this for someone close to them if it wasn’t them in this situation. This page was put together for them by their closest friends and family.

Sarah is 36 years old, a devoted mother to two beautiful boys, Henry (3) and George (4 months), she has been married to Jake for 12 years and in love with him for many more, she is a daughter, granddaughter, and daughter-in-law. Sarah is a sister, sister-in-law, a fun, loving aunt to 3 nephews and 1 niece, and she is a true, loyal friend to many. If you know Sarah, she is undoubtedly one of your favorite people to be around. Her soft, kind soul draws you in. She’s a great listener and encourager. She is by nature, a caretaker.

Sarah currently works full-time, but she is soon to begin months of extensive treatments and she will be unable to continue to work in that capacity. Jake will need to be available to support Sarah through her treatments and help care for their two sons. We want Jake and Sarah to be able to focus on her treatments and recovery without the additional stress of worrying about money, and we want the financial burden of the extensive medical bills related to this diagnosis to be lifted as much as possible. We’d like to raise enough money to allow them the freedom to spend quality time with their children, family, and friends while Sarah is undergoing treatments.

If you know Jake and Sarah personally, we know your heart breaks for them. They have a long road ahead of them. Their life has taken a drastic detour. Please consider donating whatever you can. Any amount goes toward giving them the flexibility to spend quality time with their loved ones, and to reduce the financial stress that goes with a diagnosis of cancer.
