Lauren Marmaduke

On behalf of Lauren I want to let you know what’s going on. In the past few months Lauren found out her tumors are back and her doctors are concerned with the rate of growth. In addition to the tumors she has developed an autoimmune disease called Myasthenia Gravis. This is a relatively rare neuromuscular disease that goes hand in hand with Thymoma cancer. The doctors are hopeful by attacking the cancer, it will help to minimize the symptoms of the Myasthenia Gravis she is now experiencing. To compound issues, she was unexpectedly let go from her media job and lost her insurance. Lauren started chemo this week, in total she will receive 4 rounds over 12 weeks. Shortly after completing chemo she will go in for surgery on her lungs to remove cancerous tissue. All in all she has a ton going on. We would love to help alleviate the stress of money during this time to just let her concentrate on her health and getting better. We are hopeful to collect money for Lauren’s Cobra payments, out of pocket medical expenses and everyday bills. Getting her as healthy as possible is the top priority!
