Help Save My Dog's Sight!

This is my rescue dog, Rocco, who is going blind. I adopted him five years ago "“ after the shelter said he was "unadoptable." He is only about seven or eight years old and was just diagnosed with rapidly progressing juvenile cataracts. He has already lost vision and is heading towards blindness.

His regular vet "“ a second opinion "“ and the veterinary ophthalmologist have all said he needs surgery and he needs it in the next month before the cataracts worsen.

This surgery costs $4700. I can afford $2500 "“ which is money I am borrowing through CareCredit "“ but that won't get Rocco the surgery he needs.

So I am doing what I can to raise money to help him. This is a very short window of time. I am doing what I can "“ like selling homemade dog biscuits at bake sales.

But that won't be enough. So I am asking strangers "“ like you "“ to consider chipping in just $5 to help Rocco. It's a small amount that will help me so much to ensure my dog does not lose his sight at a young age.

Rocco has lots to do: toys to destroy "“ mailmen to hate "“ snuggles to give! Going blind will restrict so much of Rocco's life. Please help me so I can give him the life he deserves! I hate that I can't do it on my own "“ but you'll never know what can happen unless you ask. I will be so grateful "“ and I will know that kindness counts in this world. Thank you thank you thank you.
