Help Me Feed My Rescue Cats!

Donation protected
I’m a single woman living in Tucson, AZ which has experienced one of its hottest summers on record…3 months of temperatures over 100 degrees almost every day…and no monsoon this year…so hot and dry conditions have been very hard on the animals.

I started putting a bowl of water by my front door and one by my sunroom – leaving the door open slightly so animals can come in to cool off from the heat and rest their overheated bodies.  It has a tiled floor so they love to lie on it.

I have a huge front yard bordered by walls and trees with some small lawns, so they love to  run, play, climb and chew the grass…and a private fenced in yard in the back for them to play and rest.

At first there was one skinny blonde cat that took refuge in my home…then there was a beautiful calico joining her…Before I knew it there were 2 more blondes and a black & white beauty, and a big black male who I named Salem after Sabrina’s cat in the TV series.

A week ago I was visited by a handful of kittens who were thirsty and hungry.  I soon learned that many of these kittens belonged to 2 of the mama cats I’d rescued...now these mamas are actually nurturing all of the kittens...what a beautiful sight!

These cats are from my neighborhood…abandoned by their owners for various reasons, and I feel blessed that I can offer my home to them.  I had my own cats for over 20 years and love these animals…they keep me on my toes, but mostly I just laugh at their antics.

Here’s the problem…I don’t make much money and I'm doing my best to take care of these beautiful creatures.  I need money to buy them food and litter.

Whatever you can afford to donate will be greatly appreciated.
