Melbourne Liquor DC Fighting Fund
Donation protected
Management at the Woolworths Melbourne Liquor Distribution Warehouse (MLDC) in Laverton, recently announced that they will introduce labour hire for the first time in the warehouse’s history. Until now, it is one of the only warehouses to hire all staff in-house. The introduction of agency casuals is a massive attack on conditions.
Workers at the MLDC in Laverton have been on strike since 4:30am on Monday 10 August. They have two demands. No labour hire at the distribution centre and no repercussions for striking.
Please show your solidarity with the workers and contribute to the fighting fund.
All donations will go directly to the striking workers.
