From the Family of Shawn Cazeau!

On the morning of July 4th, 2022, Shawn Cazeau tragically passed away in Cancun, Mexico, at the age of 23.

Shawn’s family and friends are devastated by this news. We are raising this fundraiser to help and support his family. No parent should think about shipping their child's body from vacation, let alone bury their child. Unfortunately, this is the case for his parents and why we need your help.

Shawn is survived by his parents, Marie and Vernet, and his siblings, Don, Samantha, and Calvin Cazeau. Shawn was a vibrant, sweet, and determinedly focused man with a smile that could brighten up a room and touch many of our lives in many ways. He loved his family so dearly and talked about them all the time.

Although the cause of death is unkown at this time, Shawn dealt with depression. He expressed how this vacation was well needed and talked of his desire to travel to other countries, plans to celebrate his birthday, and much more.

In advance, we thank everyone for their emotional support and donations to help our family during this grief. We loved Shawn very profoundly—more than anyone could know. We thank you for your contributions to bringing Shawn home and for funeral expenses, as this will help ease the burden on his parents and siblings.
