Jose Luis Hernandez

On a Monday in January, one of the happiest, funniest and kindest kitchen members of El Tesoro suffered a massive stroke and fell into a coma, which he never woke up from. He was taken off life support on January 23rd. Jose Luis Hernandez was a beloved member of his community, father to Jesus, Itzel & Guadalupe Hernandez and devoted husband to Anayely. He always had a smile. He always had a joke. He was always giving. If you've enjoyed a breakfast taco, tostones and guacamole or the delicious elote at El Tesoro, then you've tasted a glimpse of his goodness. We were so very shocked and saddened by Jose Luis' sudden passing. After much grieving, Jose Luis is now resting near his family land in Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico. We want to give our Tesoro friends and family the opportunity to help us, help Jesus with his dad's funeral and burial expenses. Any donation here goes straight towards those bills.
