Le Diaspore per la Croce Rossa Italiana

La rete delle realtà con backgroud migratorio per la Croce Rossa Italiana.

Come è tristemente noto a tutti, da qualche settimana ormai l’Italia (ed il mondo) è alle prese con una difficilissima lotta contro il tempo per via del Coronavirus (COVID-19). 

L’Italia è il secondo paese al mondo per livello di contagi, le strutture sanitarie sono in una situazione di crisi dovuta sia alla mancanza di personale medico che all’esiguo numero di risorse per riuscire a contenere questa piaga che ci affligge. 

L’operato svolto finora dal nostro Paese adottivo assieme a tutto l’apparato sanitario, è esemplare. Nel piccolo ognuno sta dando il suo contributo, un gesto che è indice di grande solidarietà, perché dopotutto siamo tutti figli di questa Terra, che ci regala ogni giorno sentimenti, gioie, conquiste.  

Ed è per questo che vogliamo avviare una piccola grande iniziativa chiedendo alle  comunità migranti e ai loro amici di esserci oggi, perché nell’oggi abbiamo la possibilità di dire che siamo parte integrante di questo Paese dove abbiamo scelto di vivere, far   nascere e crescere i nostri figli, costruire il nostro futuro; per dire che ci siamo, ci siamo sempre stati per l’Italia e insieme all’Italia. 

Alle associazioni della diaspora e delle nuove generazioni, alle istituzioni internazionali (Ambasciate, Organismi delle Nazioni unite,….) ai filantropi, agli enti e operatori della   Diaspora, a voi che avete avuto modo di vivere l’Italia e le sue meraviglie, direttamente o indirettamente, chiediamo di partecipare, ognuno nei limiti delle proprie possibilità,  e testimoniare che il nostro presente è qui e che speriamo di tornare, presto, più coesi e forti a sognare e costruire un futuro insieme.

Sadly, as everyone knows, Italy (and the world) has been struggling against time because of Coronavirus (Covid-19)  for a few weeks.

Right now, Italy is the second country in the world by infection rate. Healthcare facilities are facing a crisis due to lack of medical personnel and to a very limited number of resources in order to be able to contain this plague that afflicts the country. 

The work done so far by our adopted country together with the whole healthcare system is exemplary. Everyone is giving their own contribution, it is a small gesture that proves great solidarity, because after all we are all children of this Earth, which every day gives us feelings, joy and conquests.  

And that's exactly why we want to promote this small but great initiative by asking migrant communities and their friends to be there today, because today we have the opportunity to express that we are an integral part of this country where we have chosen to live, to give birth to our children and to raise them, to build our future. In order to say that we are there and we have always been, for Italy and together with Italy. 

To the associations of Diaspora and to new generations, to international institutions (Embassies, United Nations Organisations, ...) to philanthropists, to bodies and to operators of Diaspora, to you who have had the opportunity to live Italy and its wonders, directly or indirectly, we ask to participate, as far as possible, and prove that our present is here and that we hope to return soon closer and stronger to dream and build a future together.
