Supporting the Lupo Family

Many households in the community, especially in Cornwall, know the name Lupo. My uncle was in a tragic accident this week that will forever change not only his life, but also Heather and the boys. My aunt and uncle have most likely touched your lives, your kids’ lives or maybe a friend or neighbor’s. Whether my aunt has photographed your child’s shining moments from preschool to high school, volunteered at an event or you know her through her two amazing boys, chances are you know her bubbly spirit and infectious smile. My uncle has been an avid supporter of the community and his family through his years as a youth football coach and by attending everything from concerts to plays to football games. The Lupo’s are extremely kind and selfless people. My aunt and uncle volunteer countless hours with Play for your Freedom, an organization dedicated to our nation’s veterans, and they absolutely love to do it. Their giving nature is not from a place of wanting praise or recognition, but from the graciousness in their hearts. As a family, we are choosing to focus on the positives and not so much on the details of his accident. He will have many obstacles to overcome, including learning to manage life in a wheelchair and regaining the ability to use his arms.
