Teresa Judkins Memorial Fund
Donation protected
On February 17, 2016, at 2:12am Teresa Anne Judkins succumbed to her long battle with cancer. Teresa was born on April 24, 1960, in Barrow, Alaska, to Harry Craft Brower, Sr. and Annie Hopson Brower. She is the sister of Eunice Scheuring, C. Eugene Brower, Ronald H. Brower, Charles D. Brower, Price E. Brower, Dorothy J. Mazonna, Harry C. Brower, Jr., and Vera Elkins. Teresa graduated from Barrow High School in 1977 with the first graduating class at the Barrow High School
Throughout her high school career, she enjoyed playing basketball and competing in other sports. Teresa was a very outgoing, strong-willed, genuinely happy woman and enjoyed life to the fullest. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2009 when she started the long, hard battle. She is survived by her husband of thirty-one years, James Phillip Judkins, two children James Taaqpak Judkins and Tennessee Dawn Judkins, and two grandsons Isaia Cole Judkins and Evan Luca Judkins. She is the step-mother to two children, Micheal James Judkins, Jamie Michelle Criss, and grandchildren Susan Patkotak, Jack Criss, Alastair Criss, and Finn Criss. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that any donation be made to the Teresa Anne Judkins memorial fund at Wells Fargo Bank. A Celebration of Life will be held in Barrow, Alaska, at Ipalook Elementary School on Monday, March 21, 2016, at 4:30pm. We will greatly miss our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, relative and friend more than words can describe, but her memory will live on with us forever.
We are requesting folks to donate so she can be taken care of as she deserves with the care and love that she has shown and gave to everyone during her entire life. Even a momentary stranger can remember Teresa's bubbling personality outreaching to everyone with generosity, kindness and respect.
Teresa passed very soon after arriving to Florida for Palliative Care. With her grave site in Barrow, Alaska, a place you can NOT drive to the cost of airline tickets and freight are tremendous. These funds will be used for transportation of family members, equipment to dig the grave, and a monument. Thank you so very much for any and all contributions. May God Bless You and Keep You.
The family has an immediate need for funding and each donor will receive a personal Thank you written response.
