Support the Kit Share Project

In June 2024, I’ll be pairing up with the Kit Share Project in rural Bangladesh on their journey to support the village of Baronti and their inspiring passion for football.
I first went to support this project in June 2022 and was touched by the local people's creativity, hard work and community spirit.
The Kit Share Project has made phenomenal progress over the last two years. Firstly, we brought over 250kg of quality kits and boots - all thanks to your donations! Then, in 2023, along with distributing more kits and boots, we focussed our attention on an uneven, flooded paddy field, which the kids used as a space to play football. I’m so proud to see it now converted into a safe, levelled pitch with netted goals.
Since then, local kids like Mazin have been extremely proactive in hosting tournaments with other villages and maintaining their Nou Camp - excuse the pun football fans! Their ownership and drive is inspiring. After witnessing the joy from players and spectators alike, I am compelled to use my position to support the Kit Share Project as best I can.
I’m reaching out to you, my community, to be the sister community to Baronti.
This year, we are entering our next phase of development. This involves installing electrical infrastructure for floodlights, a water drainage system for a turf pitch, and building a stand for spectators. All of which will boost the local economy and elevate this rural village into a hotspot for football and community leadership in the region.
We need your support to make this dream a reality. Any donation you can make to be a part of Baronti’s journey will have a direct impact. We are in need of funds to continue our work as well as our ongoing mission to recycle unused kits and boots.
