Isadora Phoenix Fund-recov'rng from fire
Donation protected
My daughter, Isadora, is a joyous being with a kind heart. She works as a hair stylist in LA. Yesterday (Feb 5) she went to work, only to be called a few hours later that her apartment was on fire. It turned out to be an electrical fire in the wall in the bedroom.
The wonderful news is she is fine and safe, so we have much gratitude for the most important things in life!
On the material level, she lost alot of her things - photos and some things are irreplaceable. There is a lot of smoke damage.
Unfortunately she did not have renter's insurance.
Her bed was totally destroyed, camera and video camera, clothing, possibly her Mac laptop - she said it was just a little melted (doesn't sound like a good thing for a computer), some bedroom furniture... I am not sure how much damage as she is going back in today to see what is salvageable. The apartment is no longer liveable and she has to move out.
She will have to take time off from work, rent a storage shed and find a new place to live.
I believe in the stone soup theory - if each person can help out a little bit, we can move mountains. If you can only help out with $10 or $20, it builds and will help reach the goal to help Isadora get back on her feet. For others $100 or $500 is not a hardship at all. Please help her out from your heart. She has been through so much already in her life, yet she is always there for her friends and family.
Let's help her now when she is really needing our help.
With much, much gratitude,
Carol
