Angela Grignano Recovery Fund

Il 12 gennaio 2019, Angela Grignano e' andata a lavorare in rue de Trevise, all'hotel Ibis di Parigi, in Francia, quando  il disastro l'ha colpita. C'era una perdita di gas nel panificio dall'altra parte della strada rispetto all'hotel e sembra che Angela si trovasse fuori dall'edificio al momento dell'esplosione, che l'ha colpita in pieno con tutta la sua forza.

Almeno tre persone sono morte nell'esplosione e i nostri cuori vanno alle loro famiglie.

Viste le condizioni gravi di Angela è stata portata d'urgenza in ospedale con l'elicottero. La prima notizia dell'incidente e delle sue condizioni è arrivata alla famiglia, tramite amici che lavoravano con lei.

Dovete sapere alcune cose su Angela, ha solo 24 anni e si è avventurata da sola dalla Sicilia a Parigi, in Francia. Ha vissuto in questo nuovo paese solo  pochi mesi, sperando di aprire nuove porte e realizzare il sogno di ballare in questa città famosa in tutto il mondo.

Arrivata all'ospedale Laribosiere e' stata indotta in coma farmacologico e ricoverata d'urgenza nel reparto di rianimazione dell'ospedale con ferite alla mano e alla gamba destra. La sua mano è stata operata subito, ma  la sua gamba era in condizioni terribili e, dopo aver ricevuto una prima operazione, e' stata sottoposta a una seconda operazione di sei ore in una struttura specializzata.

Non siamo sicuri di quanti altri interventi chirurgici Angela dovrà subire per rimettersi in piedi, ma siamo molto soddisfatti dei suoi progressi, tuttavia ci sono ancora molti passi da fare per tornare alla normalità.

On January 12th 2019, Angela Grignano went to work in rue de Trevise, at hotel Ibis in Paris, France. When disaster struck - there was a gas leak in the in the bakery across the street from the hotel. It seems as if Angela was located outside of the building at the time of the explosion ; this is why she was greatly impacted by it.


At least three people died in the explosion; our hearts go out to their families.

Angela was left in life threatening condition  and was rushed to the hospital via helicopter. Her family's first knowledge of the incident and her condition was through friends that worked with her. 

You must know a few things about Angela, she is only 24, and had ventured out on her own from Sicily, Italy to Paris, France. She had been living in this new country for only a few months, hoping to open new door and fulfill her dreams of dancing, in this beautiful world renowned city.

Angela was placed in an induced coma in the ICU of the Laribosiere Hospital. She suffered injuries to her hand and right leg. Her hand was quickly operated on. Her leg is in terrible condition, and after she received a first operation, she is having  to under go a second six hour operation in a specialized facility. We are not sure how many other surgeries Angela will have to have to get back on her feet.

We are very satisfied with her progress, however there are still a lot of steps that need to be taken, to get her out of harms reach.
