Support Our Dad's Stroke Recovery Journey

Many of you have read or heard the story of what happened the night of my father’s stroke- what my family and I will now and forever refer to as our “Pearl Harbor”.

We are so grateful and feel very lucky for our outcome, despite feeling frustrated and failed by individuals whom should have helped us to potentially prevent this situation all together.

We still have our dad and outside of what he has called- “some hitches in my giddy up” he is doing a little better each day.

As it stands now- we are still spending long days in the hospital by his side. We learned my dad will be unable to drive for 6 months. He will have many appointments and have to continue with rehab and therapy services for quite some time before returning to work and life at what will be his new normal capacity.

If you know my father then you know how stubborn he is and that he would NEVER ask anyone for anything!

(We aren’t even telling him about this)

He would never want to take from anyone, but is always willing to give and help people.

My sister and I are asking for your help in the financial area of our situation so we might have the option of only stressing about his recovery and well being!

If nothing else- prayer and well wishes are also good as gold and appreciated.
