Dragon Boat Festival 2023

The Bradford Lung Cancer team are taking part in the Bradford Dragon Boat Festival 2023 on Sunday 2nd July. We are raising money for a cause close to our heart- Cancer Support Yorkshire (CSY) along with Bradford Hospitals Charity. CSY help provide our lung cancer patients and their families with a monthly support group. In addition they offer advice on welfare rights, well-being and counselling, amongst many other things. CSY is a small independent charity and any donation will make a real difference. We will be racing hard at the Dragon Boat festival in aid of this wonderful charity. We would be grateful for any donation and even if you can’t support financially please come down and join us in what promises to be a great day out.

More information about Cancer Support Yorkshire: We are a local independent charity that has been offering help and support to cancer patients and their loved ones for almost 30 years.

We can help with practical issues like information, transport and welfare rights. We also provide emotional support through counselling, complementary therapies and a range of classes and groups.

We have centres in Bradford and Skipton with our Wakefield centre coming soon.
