Top Surgery!

with about 16 months on hormones now, I have been doing really well and seeing only positive changes and effects. one last thing left is top surgery. it’s become this almost unattainable goal of mine that i don’t seem to be able to reach. i really, really, really… really want it to happen, but finances is what’s holding me back from getting gender affirming surgery. having had my assessment appointments for the surgery, i’m all ready to go to have it. i simply need to raise £10 000…

hello!

i’m Gabriel and i’ve been identifying as trans masculine for many years now. i wasn’t able to transitions earlier because of my situation with my family and how the process looks in my country of origin (Poland). now that i’m on my own, living abroad, i feel safe and secure enough to transition - that was the description of my previous fundraiser, which allowed me to start hormone therapy. now, 7 months on testosterone, i feel ready to move forward and start saving up for my top surgery.

unfortunately, i have been refused to be put on the NHS waiting list (reason being that i receive hormone therapy from a private service…) and i am forced to save up the full amount needed - hence this fundraiser.

i picked this goal based on estimated cost of surgery, which id like to get done by well known Dr Miles Berry (known for amazing results and recommended by many - also, importantly, dr Berry accepts GenderGP referrals). i also included potential consultation costs.

if, after consultation, the needed amount turns out to be less than this, i will also update the goal/end the fundraiser earlier.

i realise it’s quite a challenging goal. even the smallest bit of support means a lot to me. thank you!
