Someone is generously willing to donate a truck, however we still need to raise the funds to get it transported from California and continue to help pay down Michaels bills and funds for additional medical testing that he needs. Michael has spent over 33 years in service as a practicing clinical herbalist. He was director of the herbal program at The New Mexico College Of Natural Healing, founder and director of The Voyage Botanica - School Of Botanical Medicine, and The Voyage Botanica Herbal Medicine Field School. He has always believed in collecting and making his own herbal medicines, while holding to the highest of ethical wildcrafting standards possible. Michael has spent his life dedicated to his craft, working with and teaching people . He believes in service to all life forms and "simply try and make my walk on earth a good one". The wonderful plant medicines he offers is a way to support his family and assist him in the low income clinic he offers in his community.

Why I'm fundraising

Michael has had his own health struggles this past year which has made his work even more difficult, as you can imagine. He posted online looking for a reliable truck someone might have that he could use as his has broken down, so again making his work nearly impossible. We believe Michael deserves something for his life of service he has lived for so long and are hoping those in the natural healing community & beyond, who understand what Michael has given to all of us, can help give back to Michael so he can continue his work.

The impact of your support

The money raised will mean Michael can purchase a reliable 4 wheel drive vehicle so he can continue the laborious work he so loves and we all benefit from. Any extra funds will go to some additional medical testing for his lung/heart area and obviously be used for his family expenses and to ensure they have a wonderful holiday season.
