Girls Can Do Anything - Building a Tiny House Shed

For our English project, our group of 3 girls (Cambria, Hailey, & Reilly) decided to build a tiny house. Our parents call it a shed, but it will be a 12’x10’’ hang-out space, which is more like a tiny house!

Lots of people have told us we can’t do it. Too expensive, too time-consuming, and (our favorite) too hard for 3 girls who have never built anything before.

We are here to prove them wrong…and that girls can do anything!

We wanted to see if you would be willing to donate to our project to help us purchase wood, nails, screws, siding and roofing! Our total project cost? Hmjust gor the outside parts, will be greater than $3,000 and so anything you could do to help would be super appreciated!

Edit: So plywood, hardware and siding increased in cost! Now it looks like this will cost $3,800. We were able to get $800 of material donated from the Gallup Family- no now our total for exterior (to get weather tight) is now $3,000. Gotta buy all the materials now!

Exciting update - we are beyond humbled to report we have raised all the money we need for the exterior of the tiny house! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

All our donors so far have shown us that dreaming big and reaching high is worth it - and tiny houses need insulation, Sheetrock, flooring, and some electrical plugs and lights….maybe (if 3 girls can dream bigger) a little area with a mini fridge and microwave for pop corn and tea/hot chocolate!
