Victim Relief due to Gun Violence

This is my best friend Mandie and her 10 year-old daughter, Aubrey. On Monday, September 14th 2020 Mandie, Aubrey, her mom Jackie, and nephew Dominic went to Dave and Busters after school. The events that followed would be life changing.
Just as they pulled out onto the main road, Mandie and Aubrey in one car and Jackie and Dominic in the other, they heard gun shots. Not being familiar with the sound, both drivers looked around for a backfiring engine or fireworks. Before they could determine the sound, a stray bullet from a vehicle shooting on the road went through Mandie's back window only missing Aubrey's head by a few inches and hitting Mandie in the back of the neck. Jackie, while witnessing the whole thing, acted quicly to make sure Aubrey and Dominic were safe telling them to get down in the back of her car while ducking down to avoid the gunfire that could still be heard. She rushed to her daughter and held it together to call 911 while another God-send of a bystander grabbed towels and applied them to Mandie's neck while providing comfort to Jackie. It was only minutes before ambulances and police arrived on scene, and Mandie remained consious the whole time begging God not to let her die.
She was rushed to the hospital while Jackie comforted the children and made sure they were in safe hands before rushing to Mandie's side at the hospital. At the hospital, they determined, by a miracle, the bullet had entered through the back of her neck and exited underneath her chin without hitting any arteries, organs, or bone.
Mandie will make a full physical recovery with God on her side but will need time to rest and mentally process. We are all so thankful that angels surrounded both vechiles that day and kept everyone safe. Mandie is the most kind-hearted person and will do anything she can to help anyone in need and I want to do the same for her. She's a single mom who works providing reading intervention support to students in grades k-3rd and busts her butt in school full-time to give Aubrey the best life possible and fulfill her her dreams of becoming a counselor. She is passionate about her job helping her students, but it doesn't currently provide benefits like paid time off so she needs help financially to get through this. We need to raise money to help assist in her getting a new vehicle for her and her lost wages while she heals. Thank you for for supporting Mandie and her family during this difficult time.
